Week 32

This is a good size piece of chrysanthemum stone which is ironic since the theme was wee ones jewelry. lol.

Anyway, I've been working on soldering and bezels, but all my bezels have been very plain and straightforward. So I decided to spice it up and add something, anything! I chose a piece of twisted wire, which I soldered into a ring and then soldered on to the piece prior to setting the stone (see I AM learning!)

Besides a tiny space where the bezel opened up a bit on the second solder, the piece ended up looking pretty good (I think) Guess I need to work with different solders or a protectant. Will figure that out soon....
