Show recap

I participated in the Gunpowder River Artfest on Saturday.

I have to thank everyone that came out to shop, browse, and partake of the food and music –  – especially in that heat!

This was my first show of this scale and I was a bit nervous. I felt well prepared, but still had a touch of nerves. Would my tent go up ok? Is my display going to look professional? Will I have everything I need? Am I going to freeze up in the face of the public ?

In the end, I did ok. :)  The tent worked, the displays displayed, I had everything I needed (just about), and I enjoyed interacting with the public. It was a great crowd with a lot of knowledgeable people and everyone was very supportive.

The event itself was organized, well attended, and ran very smoothly from my perspective. The Northern Baltimore County Art Foundation did a great job! Thanks Tami!

I am very thankful for those who appreciated my work enough to spend their money in purchasing from me. It means more than you know! I hope you enjoy your new jewelry for years to come! Many others expressed interest even if they weren’t able to buy and I am also very thankful for each of you – the perspective gained, the feedback, SO valuable. THANK YOU! I hope to participate next year, but wonder if they organizers would consider a fallfest – the heat was very overwhelming! 😉
